A huge thank you to everyone who joined our swaps in the shop last year! Now that our storefront is closed, we are working on organizing some swaps at new locations in 2025.
Plant Swap FAQs
How does your plant swap work?
How our plant swaps typically work is as follows...
- Arrive at the event and place cutting on the community table. (If you haven't labeled your plants, there will be time and supplies to do so at the beginning.)
- We take some time to drink, snack, and get to know our fellow plant lovers before we get going.
- When everyone has arrived and dropped their plants at the table, we begin to swap with each other. If you see something you like, ask who it is from and if they would be interested in swapping from something that you've brought.
- At the end, hopefully you've made some awesome trades and new planty friends!
Do I need to pay to attend this event?
There is no admission fee for this event. It is FREE for everyone to join. Just be sure to bring some cuttings or baby plants with you. Don't just attend to take plants away.
Where will the plant swap be?
In the past, our plant swaps were hosted at our store front. However, now that our shop is closed, we will be working on organizing some swaps at new locations this year.
What type of plants can I bring?
You can bring any type of plant you have in your collection. Please don't worry about rarity. We would love for you to bring whatever you have on hand and would like to share with others. We love all types of plants here at BMBO Plants.
